Anna in the City
Born and bred Russian then raised and bred New Jerseyan, now a bonafide Washington DC-ian for 5+ years and counting. A city girl who prefers the quiet of tree-lined suburban streets to live and the hustle of a major city to live out loud. Obsessed with all things politics, particularly the stuff that happens outside U.S. borders, books of all kinds, 80s rock bands (particularly those of New Jersey origin), pretty little towns with one stoplight and a cobblestone-sidewalk downtown, gourmet chocolate, theater, sparkling wine and open interstates. Loves to sleep in but always wakes up early, constantly on the move and overthinking something, prefers downloaded TV in bed to a bar in heels, Ben and Jerry's to Haagen Daaz, subscribes to too many magazines and reads them all cover to cover, loves breezy days, beaches, well-done burgers (with cheddar and bacon), isn't afraid to eat, laugh or try new things. An eternal student with too much student loan debt, completely in love, seeks perfection in all the wrong places spends way too much time on the couch with her head in a book, doesn't light candles nearly enough, hates dirty, loves life in all its outbursts. |
